Scrapbooking has become such a huge part of my life. I love every minute of capturing and documenting life. I have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people along the way!!! I decided that I would like to "thank you" for taking the time to check out my blog by offering a little raffle. Please leave me a comment below telling me about your most favorite part of scrapbooking. On Monday, I will do a drawing for $10.00 gift card to Designer Digitals! Have a great weekend!
i love that scrapbooking allows me to see more beauty in my own life...it inspires me to take better photos, to pay closer attention to details, to appreciate art styles that aren't my own. and (unexpectedly) i found friends along the journey...friends that add even more beauty to my life.

Scrapbooking allows me to record memories for my grandchildren in beautiful, creative way. I am constantly learning & growing in this area.

'Meeting' people all around the world who get me.
ReplyDeleteIf you saw the size of my stash compared to how much of it I have actually managed to use, you'd say it was the buying, but the real truth is that I am passionate about the remembering!
ReplyDeleteMy kids are 18 and 20. I want to remember every detail from when they were little (and I can still remember!). They seem to really enjoy looking at the pages I make for them. That is what I really love about scrapbooking. It isn't just for me. Thank you for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing the reaction on my grandkids faces when they see their special pages I create. All of them gather around to check out the latest additions to my books everytime they come over. They love seeing themselves in Nana's Scrapbook. And I love seeing how happy it makes them.
ReplyDeleteFirst when did you change the name from Journey? Just noticed that.
ReplyDeleteI like the people I meet, they are so friendly and ready to help you. I like to see their pages and how creative everyone is. I like to feel like I am doing something creative. Best of all I LOVED my first Wow moment in Blending in Beyound when Jana tells us to do something and when you do, POOF there is this new picture and I did it.
I love all the new things I'm learning to do in your classes. I'll probably always find uses for templates but I'll never depend on them as much as I have in the past. I feel like now the possibilities for scrapbooking are limitless. And scrappers are such wonderful, sharing people!
ReplyDeleteScrapbooking is my creative outlet- it has made me see the world with different eyes and notice details I missed before. It gives me a way to preserve precious memories and to tell my "story".
ReplyDeleteI have loved being a part of the scrapbooking community- I only wish we could all meet at some point!
I love it when my daughter looks through our scrapbook albums. Looking at the pages reminds us of all the wonderful (and some not so wonderful) times we have had.
ReplyDeleteThe best part of scrap booking is when my family goes through my work and it triggers the memories and stories and laughter! It's priceless!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of scrapping lately is how my family is getting involved in the process. Since I've started Project Life, my kids who are college age are sending me texts and iphone photos to add to the album even though they aren't around. It's a way of us all staying connected even though we are in different locations. Then when they come home they see the pages done so quickly that they enjoy the outcome. Right now 2 of my kids are in Paris and they are keeping me in the loop with updates of photos and tweets. I just love that!
ReplyDeleteI have just LOVED Jana's classes. I have not looked forward to Mondays like I do now for a long time. When my page is completed, I feel like I am left wanting more. Hopefully there will be many more classes to inspire us along this great digital journey.
ReplyDeleteScrapbooking has inspired a love for photography and recording the stories of my life. But what started me on this journey is simply the fun of creating!
