I continue to enjoy my project for 2012. This project is REALLY saving me right now. I feel like I'm scrapping a lot less and working a lot more and yet, I know that our lives are being documented. In fact, I think this is the most I have ever documented our lives. As I looked through my photos for 2011, I discovered a ton of photos that I loved that hadn't made their way onto pages or in my 365 album. I decided on this approach for 2012 in hopes of getting more photos off of the computer and into an album. The funny thing that I have discovered is that I think my most favorite part of this project is actually that I am journaling more. I have described in detail every little thing that has been going on in our lives and I know that years down the road, I'm pretty certain that is going to be my favorite part. Here is a look at our July....it has been FULL to say the least!
Scrapbooking has been such a wonderful creative outlet for me and yet, I don't want to lose focus of why I ever started this hobby and that is certainly to tell our story. The beautiful thing about scrapbooking is that you can tell your story in a number of different ways and it can be as easy or as complex as you want it to be. I think it is just important to enjoy the process and know that your story is important.
We are heading out of town on vacation this weekend. I will be back in a week. I'm really looking forward to this time with my family. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

ReplyDeleteJana these are amazing! What fun...I recognize your layouts in magazines now, not just by your design but by your family. How fun that you were able to scrap so much of July... this is inspiring! Jana...can you tell me how you get your layouts to pop in a row to look at when I open them big? Would love to try this on my blog! www.kasmath@blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHi Kasandra, I don't think I'm going to be much help here. I just insert them and it automatically does that. I'm going to check out your blog.
