Elliana's Birthday

It is hard to believe that my precious baby girl is already six. While the days at home sometimes drag on, the years seem to fly by. We have been so blessed to have this spunky, passionate little soul in our lives. She keeps us on our toes and fills our life with love.

Today we celebrated her special day with her friends. It was a costume party. Here is the invite...

We had the perfect number of guests and the girls were just fabulous. It went so well. Here are a few shots from the day...

We had Anne, a friend of a friend who I also had ECFE with, come in and create balloons. She just learned how to do this during the summer and let me tell you, she is amazing. Check out her Wonderwoman! She has developed this into a business...I'm sure you can see why!Wonderwomen...with her friend AvaGroup shot....can they get any cuter?Strategizing for the treasure hunt...We love Becca...And then because we hadn't had enough activity in the last couple of days, I took my girls to the gopher game and we had a blast...

Friday at GMa's House

It has been an action packed couple of days...that is for sure. It has been so much fun. Friday morning was spent at Gma's which is always a treat.

Measurement time...line 'em up GMA!

the crew...
Gma's house usually involves dressing up...

We frosted cookies or rather just ate the frosting...

And then there are these two....always clowning around...

Ellie LOVED her birthday gifts she got from Jacquie and Gma...

I took this picture yesterday afternoon. I love this picture. Amelia LOVES to go get Ellie from the bus stop and she usually meets her half way and then go running into each other's arms...it is just precious to watch day in and day out. Ellie loves to tell Amelia about her day on the walk home...

Visiting Santa

This morning when I got out of the shower, I found Ellie making Amelia breakfast. They had "slept together" (I know it sounds funny) again last night. Amelia always crawls into Ellie's bed...it is so precious and yet I wish they wouldn't do it because I don't think they sleep as well. The first time they did this was in the summer and when I came in to check on them, they were embraced in each other's arms. I had tears in my eyes...I went to bed and got back up again to look at them again. We headed out to the Mall of America today for a visit with Santa....let's just say Quinn moved right down Santa's "Good List"...
and the girls moved right up his list...
We also enjoyed a ride in the amusement park, sat and listened to the carolers, and had lunch at McDonalds. I also almost had heart failure in the food court when I lost Quinn for a moment or rather an eternity! Here are a couple of other shots from our fun morning...
