Ellie's Dance Recital

Ellie had her first dance recital tonight and she did a great job. It sure was a treat to not only watch her but all of the dancers. The recital was called a "Tribute to the Kings" (Michael Jackson and Elvis). She danced to Lucky Charm and ABC's. It was so muc fun.

Kennedy stars in Guys and Dolls

Kennedy starred in Guys and Dolls and the girls and I got to see her today and quite frankly...I have no clue what to say...SHE WAS BEYOND AMAZING and I don't even think I'm biased...She knocked our socks off as Adelaide...I am still in shock. Thank God for the Whelan gene pool because that certainly didn't come from the Erdmann side. She sang solos, she danced, she had this amazing accent...she was unbelievable...it was beyond a treat...can't wait for her next one...would like to go to this one again. Did I mention that she is a freshman! Here are some shots from her performance...

Visit to the farm

We spent the weekend at the farm and that is always such a treat for all of us. Everybody was home to celebrate Chaniah's confirmation so it was even more fun. My highlight for the trip was getting to photograph sweet little Piper....isn't she GORGEOUS!

We also had some free time to hit some parks. These pictures were at the park by the Lake in Winona. They have a big stage for outdoor concerts.

Quinn of course lost no time on the stage before busting into his version of "move it, move it"

Then we headed to the farmer's park (the arches). This is a park that we used to go as kids. It is just beautiful and the kids enjoyed throwing rocks in the creek.

And then Quinn was living his dream of life on a tractor. Chad is SOOO good to him. Chad doesn't regularly farm in a suit as far as I know but he was just getting back from a wedding. Quinn's day was made to say the least.
